Taking Care of Our Body for Better Employee Productivity

One might think it’s obvious as to why fighting off harmful chemicals from the body is important – because they are harmful. Simple as that, the issue is solved. However, we deal with harmful elements every day, even when we don’t know it. Sometimes, we know about it but we still deliberately put them inside our body, like when we eat junk food, too much sweets, and exotic food, among other things. This is most especially true for those who engage in marijuana use and other forms of drug abuse. So, the questions are, when we know that these are harmful chemicals, why do we allow them inside our body? Do we do anything to ward them off, or do we just rely on our excretory system and all the other parts of the body to do all the work?

We are responsible for our body. As good employees, it is our responsibility to always be in great shape so that we can function well for our jobs. So we should always find ways to compensate for the harmful elements we inevitable cause our bodies to mingle with. This is especially true if we can see that our body is slowly gaining too much fat. Excess fat in the body will cause the body to become susceptible to various diseases and it will cause trouble in your everyday work as well as in your personality. You will become less confident about yourself and your capabilities as an individual.

It is also especially difficult if an employee is into drug use. I know, there are ways that people can escape a urine drug test these days,** and I have to admit, it is actually ingenious. However, beyond escaping the wrath of getting fired due to a “positive” result in a urine drug test, the implications of this action and the dangers are in the fact that you are letting in foreign substance enter your body.

While we don’t think twice about loading our bodies with harmful and unhealthy chemicals and whatnot, we should also give that much effort in restoring our body and ensuring that those harmful chemicals will immediately be put out of danger. Thus, making up for the negative elements means eating up on healthy food and doing regular exercise. Anything and everything that makes a body healthy and recuperate from the negative elements.

It is not fair to your body to give it unhealthy foods alone just because they taste delicious. We must also find delight in healthy products like because it will not only keep your body from harm, it will give you a very shapely body so that people would know that you care about yourself and how you look. This will tell people that you are a good person and in turn it will boost your confidence and your self-esteem.
